Iowa State University BLA students and the CDL developed design concepts for the Des Moines Social Club courtyard in the Fall 2014. The design intent is to bring what happens inside the buildings and theater, outside for the public to engage and enjoy through programming and materials. Furthermore, the design addresses the DMSC mission by enhancing outdoor performance, local food demonstration, informal seating, visual and digital art display, shade structure and vegetation.
